Houthis plan intensified strikes on Israeli airports, including on Haifa
Houthi rebels in Yemen plan to increase the intensity of their strikes on Israeli airports, including Haifa's, in the near future.
Their goal is to completely paralyse air traffic, Caliber.Az reports, citing Arabic media.
The target list in Israel includes not only airports but also a significant number of facilities in Haifa.
Israeli leaders' threats against the Houthis are also commented on. The publication claims that almost daily American airstrikes have not succeeded in forcing Yemeni authorities to stop launching missile and drone strikes on Israel.
The Houthi movement in Yemen, officially known as Ansar Allah, has significantly escalated its military actions in recent years, particularly in the context of the ongoing civil war in Yemen. While the Houthis have traditionally focused their efforts within Yemen’s borders, their recent expansion of targets to Israel marks a significant shift in their strategic goals, aligning with broader regional dynamics.
