Houthis strike Yemeni army positions with missiles and drones

The Houthis, also known as the Ansar Allah movement, carried out missile and drone strikes against military facilities belonging to the Yemeni army in the country’s northeast, a Yemeni military source told RIA Novosti.

According to the source, the Houthis targeted barracks belonging to the Yemeni army of the internationally recognised government in the city of Marib with ballistic missiles and drones.

At the same time, three ballistic missiles were launched at positions of Yemeni military personnel in the city of Mokha on the country’s western coast.

In response, Yemen’s Defence Ministry reported strikes against Houthi launch sites in the central part of the country.
