Hungarian FM declares “golden era” in bilateral relations with US PHOTO

Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó has met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Budapest, marking a new milestone in bilateral relations.

As Caliber.Az reports, Szijjártó announced the meeting on his Facebook page. Rubio arrived in Budapest on the evening of February 15 for an official visit.

“Twice in Washington, and now for the first time in Budapest: a new golden era in Hungary–US relations,” Szijjártó wrote in his post.

He added that, with US support, Hungary continues to reduce utility tariffs. Szijjártó also emphasized that Budapest “supports American peace initiatives by all means.”
