Hungarian FM: Ukraine hinders operations of Hungarian companies

The Ukrainian authorities are preventing a number of Hungarian companies from operating on their market because they also operate in Russia.

According to TASS, this was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations of Hungary, Peter Szijjártó.

"These companies operate absolutely legally, they have not violated any laws, their only 'sin' is that they are international companies and therefore present in Russia," he said.

According to Szijjártó, such actions of the Ukrainian side are unacceptable, despite the fact that Ukraine receives assistance from Hungary.

The minister said that Hungary expects the EU and Ukrainian authorities to take measures to guarantee the possibility of doing business for the EU member states.
