Hungary PM to expose "major fraud" by Orbán government
Hungary’s Prime Minister Peter Magyar has said he will disclose information on what he described as “one of the biggest scams” involving the government of Viktor Orbán, escalating political tensions ahead of a key ruling party meeting.
In a post on social media platform X, Magyar announced he would hold an emergency press conference on Saturday morning, saying the revelations concerned “one of the most high-profile deceptions” of the Orbán administration, Caliber.Az reports.

“Based on the information we have received, tomorrow’s congress of the Fidesz party on renewing its leadership has lost its purpose,” he said.
“Those behind the biggest political [crises/scandals] of recent decades cannot represent Hungarians in the future.”
