IAEA concerned over Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant shelling

International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi has expressed concern over the shelling of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant.

The statement came online on IAEA's official website, TASS reports.

"I am extremely concerned about yesterday's [August 5] shelling of Europe's largest nuclear power plant, which highlights the real risk of a nuclear catastrophe that could threaten public health and the environment in Ukraine and beyond," the IAEA director general said.
