IAEA: Iran’s heavy water plant no longer operational
The heavy water production plant in Iran’s Khondab has been severely damaged and is no longer operational, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) announced.
“Based on independent analysis of satellite imagery and knowledge of the installation, the IAEA has confirmed the heavy water production plant at Khondab, which Iran reported had been attacked on 27 March, has sustained severe damaged and is no longer operational,” the agency said in a post on X.

The IAEA also clarified that no "nuclear materials," as previously reported, were found in the building.
