IAF carries out dozens of strikes on Gaza targets, eliminates armed cell VIDEO
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that its troops, supported by intelligence from the Israel Security Agency (ISA), carried out a series of operations in the Gaza Strip on June 11 targeting what it described as militant infrastructure.
According to the IDF, during one of the operations, a group fired an anti-tank missile at Israeli troops, resulting in moderate injuries to two soldiers. The IDF stated that its forces then identified the militants responsible and responded with tank fire, killing three individuals. The Israeli Air Force (IAF) later carried out an airstrike that eliminated four more members of the same group of militants, Caliber.Az reports citing the IDF’s statement.
In a separate incident the same day, the IDF said its forces identified several individuals transporting weapons. The IAF conducted an airstrike following this identification, resulting in additional fatalities.
The military also reported locating and dismantling a weapons cache in the area.
Over the past 24 hours, the IDF stated that the IAF targeted dozens of sites across the Gaza Strip. These included military compounds, observation and sniper posts, weapons storage facilities, and other infrastructure described as posing threats to Israeli forces.
