ICRC staff visit detained Karabakh separatists

Head of the Public Relations Department of the ICRC Baku Office Ilaha Huseynova has said that the International Committee for the Red Cross (ICRC) staff in June again visited persons of Armenian origin, about whom the Azerbaijani side had informed.

During the visits, the ICRC assesses the treatment of the detainees, the conditions of their detention and creates an opportunity to restore or continue communication with their families, she told APA.

In line with ICRC procedures, observations and recommendations regarding visits are provided exclusively to the detaining party.
