Israeli airstrike kills around 15 Hezbollah militants in southern Lebanon PHOTO/VIDEO

During a targeted operation in southern Lebanon, the IDF air force eliminated around 15 militants, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) press office reports.

“As part of a targeted operation by the 146th Division, units of the 213th and 226th Artillery Brigades identified approximately 15 militants in their area of operations in southern Lebanon. After rapid identification, the Air Force struck and eliminated the militants under the division’s direction.

Units of the 213th Artillery Brigade located a group of Hezbollah militants in southern Lebanon who were planning to launch anti-tank missiles into Israeli territory. Following a swift completion of the operation, Air Force aircraft destroyed the militants.

Weapons, body armour, and grenades belonging to Hezbollah were also seized in southern Lebanon,” the statement said.
