IDF confirms return of two deceased hostages to Israel

Two coffins containing the bodies of hostages have crossed into Israel and are being transported to the National Institute for Forensic Medicine for official identification, the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) and Israel Security Agency (ISA) said.

Israeli army personnel are accompanying the families of the deceased during the transfer, Caliber.Az reports, citing IDF.

Authorities urged the public to show sensitivity and wait for formal confirmation of identities, which will be communicated to the families first.
