IDF destroys Hezbollah tunnel network in Southern Lebanon operation

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) has destroyed a Hezbollah tunnel in southern Lebanon measuring around 100 meters in length and containing four reinforced, equipped bunkers in the Mount Dov area, according to an IDF statement.

“IDF troops are operating in the Mount Dov area of southern Lebanon in accordance with the ceasefire understandings to locate and dismantle Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure.

The troops located and dismantled an underground terror tunnel approximately 100 meters long with four hideout rooms used by Hezbollah terrorists,” the statement said.

The IDF added that it will continue to act against threats to Israeli civilians and soldiers, operating under the directives of Israel’s political leadership.
