IDF detains “Lion’s Den” militant in West Bank operation

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) conducted a counterterrorism operation near Nablus in the West Bank, detaining a member of the terrorist group “Lion’s Den.”

During the operation, authorities apprehended a militant previously known as part of “Lion’s Den” and another terrorist involved in manufacturing explosives and planning attacks against IDF soldiers and the State of Israel, Caliber.Az reports via the IDF’s press service.

Weapons and ammunition were seized, which the militant had intended to use in attacks on IDF personnel.

“Israeli security forces continue to operate in the area to thwart terrorism and any attempt to harm Israeli civilians and security forces,” the IDF noted.
