The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said its Multidimensional Unit has conducted targeted operations in southern Lebanon, eliminating over 40 members of Hezbollah and striking roughly 75 organisational targets.
On April 2, the IDF reported dismantling a rocket launcher poised to fire toward Israel, killing three individuals operating near the site. In a separate incident, six additional Hezbollah members were reportedly killed.

"The IDF will continue in its mission of reducing the scope of fire toward the citizens of Israel. The IDF will continue to operate decisively against the Hezbollah terrorist organization after it chose to join the attack on Israel and operate under the auspices of the Iranian regime," the statement said.
