IDF eliminates terrorists emerging from underground hideout in Rafah
Israeli Defence Forces troops detected eight terrorists overnight after they emerged from an underground hideout in the eastern part of Rafah, the IDF press service reported, according to Caliber.Az.
“After the terrorists were identified, IDF soldiers carried out a strike and eliminated three of them,” the statement said.
The military added that further strikes were later launched against areas where the remaining terrorists attempted to flee. “The results of the strikes are currently being assessed,” the IDF noted.
IDF forces continue search operations in the area in order to locate and eliminate all remaining terrorists.
The statement also stressed that IDF troops under the Southern Command remain deployed in line with the ceasefire agreement and will continue operations to neutralise any immediate threat.
