IDF kills militant who approached troops in northern Gaza PHOTO
The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) have neutralised a militant who crossed the “yellow line” in the northern Gaza Strip.
According to the IDF, the statement said that the militant was identified crossing the "yellow line" and approaching IDF soldiers in the northern Gaza Strip, posing an imminent threat to them.
"IDF soldiers under the Southern Command remain deployed in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat."
In a separate operation on Israel’s eastern border, IDF forces intercepted an attempted weapons smuggling. Surveillance in the area of the Yoav Brigade detected a drone carrying ten pistols crossing into Israeli territory.

Troops from the Yoav Brigade successfully intercepted the drone and confiscated the weapons, which have been handed over to security authorities for further investigation.
