IDF launches targeted ground operations against Hezbollah
The Israel Defence Forces said its troops have launched limited, targeted ground operations against Hezbollah in recent days as part of efforts to reinforce defensive positions along the northern front.
According to an official statement, units from the IDF’s 36th Division are operating alongside the 91st Division in a continued deployment aimed at establishing a strengthened forward defensive line. The objective, the military said, is to eliminate threats and provide additional security for residents of northern Israel, as per Caliber.Az report.

The IDF added that, prior to the ground incursions, it conducted strikes on multiple Hezbollah targets using both artillery and the Israeli Air Force, seeking to reduce threats in the operational environment.
In its statement, the military said it would continue what it described as decisive action against Hezbollah, accusing the group of joining the fighting with backing from Iran. It stressed that operations are intended to prevent harm to Israeli civilians.
