IDF raids in southern Lebanon destroy weapons depots, militant sites PHOTO

Units of the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) 401st Brigade carried out raids on militant targets in southern Lebanon, uncovering weapons depots and destroying several advanced anti-tank missile systems intended for launch toward Israel, the IDF announced on Telegram.

“During a targeted operation against Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon, the troops located a weapons cache and destroyed five advanced anti-tank missiles that were intended for launch toward Israeli territory,” the army said.

The troops also discovered weapons stored in underground facilities, which were immediately destroyed. 

The IDF stated it will continue operations against the Iran-backed Hezbollah group to prevent threats to Israeli civilians.
