“Throughout Operation ‘Lion’s Roar’ (Sha’agat Ha-Ari), the IDF has been conducting systematic and continuous operations targeting the forces and infrastructure of the Basij unit.
Yesterday (March 18), the Air Force located and struck a Basij fighter while he was on guard duty at one of the unit’s bases in western Iran.
The IDF acts decisively against regime forces, including the Basij unit. For example, the day before yesterday (March 17), Basij fighters at more than 10 different positions across Tehran were attacked,” the statement said.
