IDF says it struck Hezbollah launch sites in southern Lebanon

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said they carried out strikes on Hezbollah launch sites in southern Lebanon, targeting military positions and related infrastructure used by the group.

In a statement, the IDF said the strikes hit several launch sites in multiple areas of southern Lebanon and dismantled military structures and other infrastructure from which Hezbollah fighters had recently operated, Caliber.Az reports. 

According to the Israeli military, the presence of the launch sites violated existing understandings between Israel and Lebanon. The IDF said it would continue operations aimed at eliminating threats to Israel and preventing Hezbollah from reestablishing military capabilities.
