IDF says it struck Hezbollah rocket launcher in southern Lebanon VIDEO

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it carried out strikes in southern Lebanon overnight, targeting and destroying a rocket launcher it says was used by Hezbollah in an earlier attack on northern Israel.

In a statement, the IDF said: “Overnight [May 15 -ed.], the IDF struck and dismantled the launcher from which the Hezbollah terrorist organization fired several rockets toward the area of Kiryat Shmona yesterday.”

The military said the launcher was hit in the Zebdin area of southern Lebanon.

It added that additional targets were also struck during the operation.

“In addition to the launcher, several structures used by Hezbollah for military purposes and for carrying out attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians were struck,” the statement said.
