IDF says it struck Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon VIDEO
The Israeli military said it carried out a series of strikes on Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon on May 1, claiming to have dismantled more than 50 infrastructure sites and killed several militants operating near its forces.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said the operation targeted command centres, military structures, and other facilities it described as being used by Hezbollah to plan and carry out attacks against Israeli troops and civilians, Caliber.Az reports.

“Including command centers from which terrorists operated, military structures, and additional terrorist infrastructure,” the IDF said, describing the scope of the strikes.
The military added that Hezbollah fighters had fired rockets toward Israeli forces operating in southern Lebanon during the same period. The rockets reportedly landed in open areas, and no warning sirens were activated in accordance with standard protocol.
“The command centers and military structures that were struck were used by Hezbollah terrorists to advance terror attacks against IDF soldiers and the State of Israel.”
The IDF also said it would continue operations against perceived threats, acting under directives from Israel’s political leadership.
