21 August 2026 18:06
Kyrgyzstan resumed gold exports in June after a four-month halt, according to data from the country’s National Statistical Committee.
The Central Asian country exported 91.8 kg of gold in June, with the entire shipment purchased by Switzerland, Caliber.Az reports.
Kyrgyzstan had exported nearly 99kg of gold in January, but recorded no gold exports from February to May.
The figures mark a significant decline from the same period last year. Between January and June 2025, Kyrgyzstan exported more than 1.7 tonnes of gold.
