IDF says two drones intercepted near Jordan border

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it intercepted two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) detected near the country's border with Jordan, adding that the drones did not enter Israeli territory.

In a statement, the IDF said the UAVs were intercepted after being identified operating near the border. It did not specify where the drones originated, saying the launch site remains under investigation, Caliber.Az.

The military also said air raid sirens were not activated because the incident did not meet the operational criteria requiring public alerts.
