IDF seizes Hezbollah weapons, including missiles, launchers, in Southern Lebanon VIDEO
The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) have uncovered and confiscated a range of weaponry during ongoing operations in southern Lebanon.
Troops from the 769th Brigade, responsible for securing Israel, particularly its northern communities, conducted searches in a village in southern Lebanon, Caliber.Az reports, citing a statement from the army press service.
During the operation, they uncovered a multi-barrel rocket launcher, hundreds of mortar shells, RPG rifles, and explosive devices inside a structure.
In addition, anti-tank fire positions and concealed weapons were located in the vicinity.
Further investigations led to the discovery of a weapons storage facility, which contained dozens of shoulder-launched missiles, explosive charges, and a significant quantity of military equipment. All materials were either seized or dismantled by the IDF.
The IDF has stressed that its operations continue to align with the terms of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon. Troops remain deployed throughout southern Lebanon, ready to respond to any threats to the State of Israel or its citizens.
