NATO to conduct training flights over Estonia, including low-altitude drills

Starting September 21, NATO aircraft based in the Baltic states will conduct training flights in Estonian airspace, including at low altitudes, ERR reports.

The training flights may also involve supersonic operations. They will be conducted in coordination with the civilian air traffic control service and at designated altitudes.

The flights are scheduled to take place across Estonia from September 21 to 27. Low-altitude flights will be conducted no lower than 152 meters above the ground.

All flight exercises will be carried out in accordance with Estonian law and coordinated with the Transport Administration and AS Lennuliiklusteenindus.
