The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) have reported the elimination of an individual in the central Gaza Strip connected to weapon smuggling operations.
On Saturday (April 4), Israel carried out an airstrike targeting Ali Ahmad Ali Amrain, a Hamas operative believed to have been involved in smuggling weapons into the Gaza Strip, IDF reports.
These weapons were allegedly used in various activities linked to the group.
According to the IDF, the operation aimed to reduce the threat posed by ongoing weapon smuggling efforts in the region. The military maintains that the strike was part of its broader efforts to address security concerns in Gaza.
