IDF strikes Hezbollah, Iranian targets in Lebanon
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has carried out a series of strikes across Lebanon in response to rockets launched from its territory toward the State of Israel, the press service of the Israel Defense Forces said.
“.... the IDF precisely struck senior Hezbollah terrorists in the Beirut area.
Simultaneously to the strikes targeting terrorists, the Israeli Air Force and the Israeli Navy, with the guidance of IDF intelligence and the Northern Command, struck dozens of Hezbollah and Iranian terrorist regime command centers throughout Lebanon and particularly in the Daheiya area in Beirut.
Similarly, the Israeli navy struck a facility used by the terrorist organisation Hezbollah to store weapons in the Tyre area of Lebanon.
The command centres targeted were used by the Iranian terrorist regime to deepen ties with Hezbollah, enabling the organisation to carry out numerous terrorist attacks against civilians in the State of Israel over the past several years, particularly during Operation ‘Northern Arrows.’
The strike was carried out against the terrorist organisation Hezbollah, which chose to align itself with the Iranian terrorist regime and will be held responsible in the future for attacks against the State of Israel.
The Israel Defense Forces will continue to act against Hezbollah’s decision to join this campaign and operate on behalf of the Iranian regime,” the statement said.
