IDF strikes Hezbollah launcher in Lebanon minutes after rocket fire VIDEO
The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said it struck and destroyed a rocket launcher in Lebanon within minutes of rockets being fired towards northern Israel.
According to IDF, rockets were launched earlier in the evening towards northern Israel, with no casualties reported.
In response, Israeli forces quickly identified the origin of the fire and carried out a targeted strike on the launcher used in the attack.
The IDF said the launcher was located in Lebanese territory and was subsequently destroyed shortly after the initial launches.
In a statement, the military said it “will not allow harm to the citizens of the State of Israel” and pledged to continue operations against the militant group Hezbollah, which operates from Lebanon and has been engaged in ongoing cross-border exchanges with Israel.
