IDF strikes Hezbollah military sites across Lebanon
The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) have conducted a series of strikes targeting Hezbollah’s military infrastructure in multiple locations across Lebanon, Caliber.Az reported, citing the IDF press service.
According to the statement, the operation focused on weapons depots and weapons-production facilities that Hezbollah had been using to rebuild and reinforce its military capabilities. The IDF also struck several launch platforms, rocket launchers, and additional military sites that the group employed to carry out attacks against Israel and IDF soldiers.
The statement emphasised that both the targeted facilities and Hezbollah’s attempts to restore them constitute violations of existing agreements between Israel and Lebanon and create a direct security threat to Israel.
The IDF stressed that it will continue its operations with the objective of eliminating any danger posed to the State of Israel.
