IDF strikes Hezbollah weapons storage in southern Lebanon
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it carried out airstrikes in southern Lebanon early on November 13, targeting Hezbollah weapons storage and underground infrastructure sites.
According to an IDF statement, the strikes were guided by intelligence and hit facilities located near civilian areas. The military accused Hezbollah of operating within populated zones and using civilians as human shields, Caliber.Az reports.
The IDF said it conducted an additional strike later in the day against another Hezbollah “terror infrastructure site.”
The statement added that Hezbollah was attempting to reestablish its military capabilities across Lebanon, calling such activity a violation of understandings between Israel and Lebanon.
The IDF said it would continue operations aimed at "eliminating threats and protecting Israeli territory."
