IDF: Thirteen hostages return to Israel, receive initial medical care
As many as thirteen Israeli hostages held abroad have arrived safely at an initial reception point within Israeli territory, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) and the Israeli Security Agency (ISA) announced.
The group, including Matan Zangauker, Maxim Herkin, Segev Kalfon, Yosef-Chaim Ohana, Nimrod Cohen, Avinatan Or, Evyatar David, Eitan Horn, David Cunio, Ariel Cunio, Elkana Bohbot, Bar Kupershtein and Rom Braslavski, is undergoing initial medical evaluations.
IDF personnel from the Manpower Directorate, along with medical teams, are accompanying the hostages. Families are being reunited at the reception point in southern Israel, where IDF representatives continue to provide updates and support.
The circumstances surrounding the hostages’ release have not been disclosed. Israeli officials said that further information would be shared once the individuals complete their initial assessments.
