IDF: Two militants eliminated in Gaza Strip operations
The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) eliminated on Wednesday, April 22, a militant who was active in the area of the Yellow Line in the northern Gaza Strip and approached Israeli troops in a way that “posed an immediate threat.”
IDF said forces from a combat team of the Northern Brigade immediately after the identification opened fire to remove the security risk, Caliber.Az reports, citing the IDF.
In a separate incident the previous day in southern Gaza, forces from the Negev Brigade eliminated another militant who crossed the Yellow Line and approached troops, also posing an immediate threat.
“The IDF forces under the command of the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to eliminate any immediate threat,” the military said.
