India raises concerns with US over sanctions on Russia, Iran

India has reiterated its concerns with the US over the Sanctions on Russia and Iran Act (SRIA), says Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.

Sharing a post on X, Jaishankar said he raised the issue during a meeting with the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Caliber.Az reports.

He added that the talks also covered developments in the Persian Gulf region and Ukraine.

“Reiterated India’s interests and concerns with regard to SRIA. Also discussed the Gulf and Ukraine situations,” he wrote.
