India, US hold 18th Defence Policy Group meeting in New Delhi
India and the United States held the 18th meeting of their Defence Policy Group in New Delhi, bringing together senior officials to review and advance bilateral defence cooperation.
The talks were co-chaired by Rajesh Kumar Singh, India’s Defence Secretary, and Elbridge Colby, the US Under Secretary of Defence for Policy.
As reported by Caliber.Az, the development was announced by the Ministry of Defence of India on its page on X.
“The 18th India–US Defence Policy Group meeting was held in New Delhi today. Defence Secretary Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh and US Under Secretary of War for Policy Mr. Elbridge Colby co-chaired the talks.
Both sides reviewed ongoing initiatives, identified priority areas for co-development & co-production of defence equipment, and reaffirmed commitment to enhancing military-to-military cooperation through joint exercises, training visits & strategic exchanges,” the post reads.
