Indian PM, Jordan King express concern over attacks on Mideast energy sites

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has held a phone conversation with King Abdullah II of Jordan, discussing the current situation in the Middle East.
During the conversation, they expressed concern over attacks on energy infrastructure, noting that such actions could lead to unnecessary escalation, Caliber.Az reports, citing Modi's post on X.
The Prime Minister Modi emphasised the need to prioritise dialogue and diplomacy to restore peace, security, and stability in the region as soon as possible.
India and Jordan reaffirmed their support for the unobstructed transit of goods and energy, and they also praised Jordan’s efforts to safely repatriate Indian citizens stranded in the region.
