Indian PM to visit Uzbekistan to discuss bilateral cooperation

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay a state visit to Uzbekistan on August 29–30 to discuss issues of bilateral cooperation.
Indian Deputy Foreign Minister Sibi George said, in Tashkent, he will meet with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and visit one of the country’s universities, Caliber.Az reports, citing Uzbek media.
This will be Modi’s fourth visit to Uzbekistan.
The two sides are expected to discuss key areas of bilateral cooperation, including trade and investment, critical minerals, healthcare and education.
The talks will also cover cooperation in space and technology, culture and other areas.
