Indian shipping loses seafarers due to Iran war, three dead

On March 12, India’s Ministry of Shipping reported that since the start of the war in Iran, three Indian sailors have been killed and one is missing following a series of “maritime incidents” involving foreign-flagged vessels.
Ministry spokesperson Rajesh Kumar Sinha clarified that the affected ships had a total of 78 Indian crew members on board, Caliber.Az reports, citing The Associated Press (AP).
In addition, four sailors were injured, though their condition is reported as stable.
