IndiGo flight makes emergency diversion to Muscat after pilot falls ill

An IndiGo flight travelling from Qatar's Doha to India's Bengaluru was diverted to Oman's Muscat on the morning of September 3 after one of the pilots fell ill and required medical assistance.
Flight 6E 1302 departed Doha at 2:19 a.m. and landed at 5:30 a.m. local time. The diversion was made to allow the affected crew member to receive urgent medical attention, Caliber.Az reports, citing The Hindu.
Following the landing, the pilot received treatment from medical personnel and is now feeling better.
The airline arranged a replacement aircraft and a new crew to continue the flight to Bengaluru.
