Intense firefighting operation underway in Karabakh’s mountainous districts VIDEO
Firefighting efforts are ongoing in the mountainous areas of Karabakh, with a total of 620 personnel, 51 pieces of equipment, and four helicopters actively engaged in the operation.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan informed Caliber.Az about the current situation.
Emergency response actions are underway due to fires erupting in the challenging mountainous landscapes of the Aghdam, Khojaly, Khojavand, Fuzuli, and Aghdara districts.
The firefighting operation includes units from the State Fire Service, the Special Risk Rescue Service, Civil Defence forces, the Karabakh Regional Centre, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations’ Aviation Unit.
“Despite the difficult terrain, soaring temperatures, and windy conditions, the firefighting work continues nonstop. Further updates will be shared,” the Ministry of Emergency Situations stated.
