24 February 2026 14:18

On the fourth anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, multiple countries have announced fresh assistance measures for Kyiv.

The United Kingdom has allocated $26.9 million in emergency energy aid to help protect and restore Ukraine’s power grid, alongside $7.6 million in humanitarian assistance, Caliber.Az reports, citing Ukrainian media.

Denmark announced $30 million in humanitarian aid aimed at supporting civilians most affected by Russian attacks on critical infrastructure.

New Zealand pledged $8 million in additional aid for Ukraine and introduced further sanctions targeting Russia. The sanctions reduce the price cap on Russian oil from $46.6 to $44.1 and expand the list to include 23 individuals, 13 organizations, and 100 ships.
