Iran allies expand drone arsenal with decentralised production
A senior figure in the Iraqi armed group Harakat al-Nujaba said that Iran and allied groups within the so-called “Axis of Resistance” possess substantial strategic stockpiles of missiles and drones.
According to Caliber.Az, Abdul Qader al-Karbalaei, deputy leader of the group, made the remarks in a social media post on Tuesday, March 17.

Al-Karbalaei stated that the production of such weapons does not depend on large-scale industrial facilities, but instead relies on “a long and complex supply chain,” with manufacturing carried out in small workshops using rapid and low-cost production lines.
Describing the process, he said the production of missiles and drones has become “similar to making traditional holiday sweets in Muslim homes,” highlighting the decentralised and adaptable nature of the manufacturing approach.
