Iran and Lebanon record highest death tolls in ongoing regional war

The broadcaster Al Jazeera has published an infographic detailing the number of fatalities recorded since February 28 during the ongoing war involving Israel, the United States and Iran.

According to the figures presented in the infographic, the highest number of deaths has been recorded in Iran, where 1,444 people have been killed since the start of the conflict.

The data also indicates that 773 people have been killed in Lebanon. Other countries in the region have reported smaller numbers of casualties.

In Israel, the death toll stands at 14 people. The infographic also lists fatalities in several Gulf states, including six in the United Arab Emirates, two in Bahrain, two in Saudi Arabia, six in Kuwait and three in Oman.

The infographic further reports that 11 members of US forces have been killed during the conflict, while 26 deaths have been recorded in Iraq.
