Iran blames IAEA chief for enabling attacks on its nuclear facilities VIDEO
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei has sharply criticised International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi, accusing him of contributing to the escalation of hostilities against Iran through what Tehran calls a “biased” report.
In a post on X, Baqaei condemned Grossi’s recent comments that the agency “did not have any evidence of a systematic effort [by Iran] to move into a nuclear weapon.” The Iranian official argued that this admission comes too late, claiming that Grossi’s earlier report had already been “instrumentalized” by the E3 countries and the United States to pass a resolution containing “baseless allegations of non-compliance” against Iran, Caliber.Az reports.

This is too late, Mr. Grossi: you obscured this truth in your absolutely biased report that was instrumentalize by E3/U.S. to craft a resolution with baseless… pic.twitter.com/A2cQcyqiFy
Baqar claimed that this resolution served as the final pretext for what he described as “a genocidal warmongering regime” to launch a war of aggression on Iran, including an unlawful attack on the country’s peaceful nuclear facilities.
“You obscured this truth in your absolutely biased report,” Baqaei wrote, further questioning whether Grossi understood the human cost of the resulting conflict.
“Do you know how many innocent Iranians have been killed/maimed as a result of this criminal war? Is it how an international civil servant tested for assigning the UN leadership?” he questioned.
He went on to accuse Grossi of betraying the nuclear non-proliferation regime and turning the IAEA into a “tool of convenience” for non-NPT (Non-Proliferation Treaty) members, undermining the rights of NPT signatories under Article 4 of the treaty.
Misleading narratives have dire consequences, Mr. Grossi, and demand accountability,” Baqaei stated, concluding with the pointed question: “Any clear conscience?”
