Iran claims missile superiority over Israeli skies

Commander of the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, an elite branch of the Iranian Armed Forces), Gen. Majid Mousavi, has said that Iranian forces have now achieved missile superiority in Israeli airspace.

“From this moment, I declare Iran’s missile superiority in the skies” over Israel, Mousavi said on his X page. 

He also stated that in upcoming waves of missile strikes targeting Israeli territory and U.S. military bases in the region, Iranian armed forces will employ “new tactics and launch systems.”

Before the Iranian attack on Israel on March 21, Mousavi promised that the skies over southern Israel “will be illuminated [by missiles] for several hours tonight.”
