Iran declares US intervention failure in shifting power toward Israel
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has declared that recent US military involvement in support of Israel failed to alter the strategic balance of power in the ongoing conflict.
In a strongly worded statement, the IRGC claimed that American efforts to bolster Israeli forces had been ineffective against what it described as Iran’s “superior power,” Caliber.Az reports citing Iranian media.
“The entry of the criminal and defeated US army into the conflict to rescue the unfortunate soldiers of the Zionist Armed Forces failed to change the balance of forces and [offset] Iran's superior power,” the statement read.
The IRGC further stated that Iran had delivered a direct response to Washington's actions by targeting a US military base in Qatar—an act Tehran described as a reaffirmation of its military resolve and deterrence capability.
Tehran accused the United States of joining Israel’s “aggression” and characterized the move as a failed attempt to shift momentum in favor of Tel Aviv. The statement framed the US presence as both ineffective and symbolic of a broader strategic failure in confronting Iranian influence in the region.
