Iran denies involvement in attack on Kuwait desalination plant

A spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters claimed that the recent attack on a Kuwait desalination plant, which has been attributed to the Islamic Republic of Iran, was in fact carried out by Israel.

The statement, shared on the official Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Telegram channel, read: “The brutal attack by the Zionist regime on Kuwait’s desalination plant, carried out under the pretext of blaming the Islamic Republic of Iran in recent hours, demonstrates the depravity of the occupiers. We declare that US bases, military assets, and interests in the region, as well as the infrastructure, military, economic, and security facilities of the Zionist regime, will remain under our powerful watch. 

West Asian countries must remain vigilant against provocations by American-Zionist enemies aimed at destabilising the region and put an end to the presence of the criminal American army and Zionist occupiers.”
