Iran denies selling drones to Russia Amidst ongoing military cooperation

In an interview with the Financial Times, Kamal Kharrazi, foreign affairs adviser to Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, asserted that Iran is not supplying drones to Russia.

Kharrazi emphasized that military-technical cooperation between Iran and Russia continues without any obstacles, Caliber.Az reports.

"There are no obstacles between Iran and Russia for arms deals”, adding that Tehran was in negotiations to buy Russian fighter jets.

“We are due to sign a comprehensive strategic agreement with them in the near future,” Kharrazi added.

The advisr firmly denied allegations that Iran has been selling drones to Russia, dismissing them as false.
