Iran facing financial crisis, says US president

US President Donald Trump has claimed that Iran is undergoing a severe financial downturn, asserting that the country is losing approximately $500 million per day amid heightened tensions surrounding the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump made the remarks on his social media platform Truth Social, Caliber.Az reports.

“Iran is collapsing financially! They want the Strait of Hormuz opened immediately- Starving for cash! Losing 500 Million Dollars a day. Military and Police complaining that they are not getting paid. SOS!!!” the US leader posted.
