Iran fires over 400 missiles, deploys nearly 1,000 drones in assault on Israel Since June 13
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has announced that since the outbreak of the conflict on June 13, Iran has launched over 400 ballistic missiles and deployed nearly 1,000 drones targeting Israel.
Of the missiles fired, just over 20 have hit populated areas within Israel, causing casualties and significant destruction, Caliber.Az reports via Israeli media.
The attacks have so far resulted in 24 deaths and more than 500 injuries across the country. Despite the severity of these attacks, military officials stated that the number of casualties is much lower than anticipated during the IDF’s strategic planning against Iranian threats. In addition to the missile strikes, fewer than 200 of the approximately 1,000 drones launched by Iran have managed to reach or enter Israeli airspace. None of these drones caused damage, as all were either intercepted and destroyed by Israeli Air Force and Navy forces or fell short before reaching their targets.
